Background

Centre for Governance and Public Accountability (CGPA) is not-for-profit, non-governmental, civil society organization working for promotion of public accountability and good governance. CGPA was established in 2011, and registered on January 31, 2012 under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. CGPA is governed by board of directors, comprises of seven members.

Duties & Responsibilities

Visual Design: Create visually stunning and cohesive designs that align with the requirements of the manager.

• Create and design various materials for digital and print

• Design materials that showcase the company culture, values, and employer value proposition.

• Develop infographics, charts, and visual elements to enhance the communication of different department processes and policies as and when required.

• Create design assets for external communication, ensuring a consistent and professional visual identity.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand communication objectives and translate them into compelling visual content.

• Select colors, fonts, images, and layouts

• Ensure projects are completed in a timely manner with a quality product

• Advise best practices and optimizations throughout design projects.

• Collaborate with manager to develop new approaches for creating more-expressive graphics for the company

• Work with a wide range of media and graphic design software

• Establish creative direction for the company within brand guidelines

• Manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions

• Determine voice and messaging for graphic design pieces

• QA design for errors

• Implement feedback and changes whenever possible

• Create visualizations that convey accurate messaging for the project.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, with a portfolio showcasing creative and relevant design work.

• Experience Required: 2 -3 year

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, QuarkXPress) and Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint).

• Attention to detail

• Portfolio of work with a wide range of creative projects

• Time management and organizational skills

• Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred

• Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and web

• Experience with both print and digital media
