PESHAWAR: A proposal is under consideration in Islamabad to give the Federally Administered Tribal Areas the status of a separate province, a consultative seminar on tribal region was told here on Tuesday.
PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Right to Information Commission (RTIC) on Friday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Centre for Governance and Public Accountability (CGPA) to install a toll-free helpline with a view to facilitate the citizens in exercising their constitutional right to information.
PESHAWAR: People from the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata) threatened a sit-in outside the Presidency in Islamabad if the government failed to extend the jurisdiction of superior courts.
The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) government has spent Rs17.86 billion out of the Rs140.23 billion allocation under the umbrella of Annual Development Programme (ADP) 2014-15.
CGPA organised Trainings and Awareness Sessions on Right to Information and Right to Public Services Laws in newly merged districts with support of GIZ.
